Mr and Ms Samaritano 2019

The 47th Founding Anniversary celebration ended with a blast as the most awaited event of the year took place last February 21, 2020. This year’s Mr. and Ms. Samaritan contestants were composed of 15 girls and 15 boys from the different programs of the school. The gym was filled with people from the various towns of Nueva Ecija to cheer for their candidates. It was indeed a night full of spectacular performances, beautiful faces, colorful costumes, and witty answers. Each contestant can be described, as the epitome of what a Good Samaritan student should be – Competent, Committed and Compassionate. Each year the organizers from the Office of the Student Affairs ensure the screening process is stringent enough to choose the best of the best among the students, as this is not just an ordinary pageant; the winners of this competition will represent Good Samaritan Colleges. That night, the finalists graced the stage with ease and confidence making it hard for the judges to choose who will bring home the crown. The audiences were in for a one of a lifetime show as they were in awe to see the finalists in their evening attire. The question and answer was the tip of the iceberg for the anxious viewers and as well for the judges. The contestants took everyone’s breath away as they answered each question. Truly, they were all victors that night. As the evening concluded, the stage was filled with triumphant laughter as the newly crowned Mr. and Ms. Samaritan was announced. Among the candidates, Christian Lauro Manaid from Grade 12 – ABM and Julia Ronquillo from Grade 12 – STEM emerged as winners.
